旺德是一位喜歡思考的農夫,在日復一日的勞動中找到生活的樂趣。在一次鴨稻共生的學習會中,被黎明種鴨場為日本稻農育成的合鴨吸引,於2005年決定轉作有機稻,讓水稻與鴨子共生。在耕種合鴨米的過程中,發現有好菌與微生物的土壤,才算是良好土質的農地,才能種出好米,為此他開始養土,培養土壤裡的好菌,甚至自己做堆肥,進一步了解土壤。為了推廣自己種的米,他和親友合開餐廳,提升稻米的價值。

Wang-teh is a farmer who likes to think, searching for joy of life through daily labor. At a seminar on duck-rice symbiosis, he was intrigued by the Aigamo duck bred by Liming Farm for Japanese rice farmers, and decided to switch to organic farming in 2005, creating symbiosis between rice and duck. Through cultivation of Ho Ya Rice, he discovered that a farm is only considered good when there are bacteria and microorganisms in the soil, producing quality rice. So he started to cultivate the soil, cultivate the good bacteria in the soil, and make own compost, gaining greater knowledge on soil. To promote the rice he cultivated, he has opened up a restaurant with relatives and friends, further increasing the value of the rice.
